I know, I know, you love taking photos of your dog, your phone is filled with photos of them but you can never have too many right? The only thing is they just never come out quite as you hope, your dog won't stay still long enough to get that perfect shot.
You would love to book a professional for a photoshoot but I'm going to guess you have said this before "My dog would never sit or behave for a photoshoot". You are sure your dog won't obey any commands, will refuse to co-operate and cause general chaos.
I'll let you in on a little secret, that's most dogs and that's awesome! What's a dog without a little chaos involved. I have plenty of tricks up my sleeve and endless patience to capture those epic shots of your dog.
How do dog sessions work?
Booking Your Session.
To book your session, just pop me a message via my contact page, we’ll arrange a time and date as well as a location. That could be one of you and your dogs favourite places or one from my list. I will also take the time to get some information about your dog, this will all help prepare the perfect session.
We are lucky here to have four distinct seasons that all have something to offer for a photography session. If you have a particular season you would prefer, then please contact me early to ensure your session is secured.
If the weather isn’t ideal for your session, then we will simply reschedule to the next available date.
Enjoying Your Session.
This is the fun part. On the day of the shoot we will meet at our agreed upon location. From here we will spend a little bit of time letting your dog explore and get relaxed with myself and the camera. Sessions usually last around 1-2 hours, where we basically go for a nice walk, explore the location and we will stop along the way to capture beautiful images of your dog.
The sessions are all about relaxing and having fun and may be a little hands on. You will have the opportunity to be actively involved in the session, such as holding your furry friend in position on lead or drawing attention with treats and toys.
There is no rush during the session and we will take as long as needed to make sure we get the best results. There will be plenty of fun and games and and we will keep it totally stress free for your dog.
You just need to show up and have fun!
The Final Results.
After your photoshoot I will begin the process of editing your images.
Once editing is complete, I will send you a link to your online gallery where you can view, download and share your images.
The gallery will also include access to a print store where you can have images professionally printed, on a variety of products.
